How Does In-House Lab Testing Work?
Before recommending any labs, we'll start with a discussion of your medical history, changes you've noticed in your health, and your reason for coming in (if it's a sick visit). From there, we'll determine which lab tests are appropriate for your needs. In some cases, we may schedule another appointment so that you can fast or make any other necessary preparations.
Depending on the test being performed, your provider may take a blood draw, urine sample, throat swab, or another type of specimen. Once collected, it will be sent to our healthcare partners for processing and analysis.
