As the founder and owner of Midwest Medical Weight Loss & Aesthetics, Angela Dugo-Munizzi, APN-FPA, FNP-BC, is dedicated to helping patients achieve better health through personalized, one-on-one care. A Chicagoland native, she opened our practice in 2021 with the goal of creating a welcoming environment where patients could receive comprehensive medical, wellness, and aesthetic services tailored to their individual needs. Her areas of focus include primary care, medical weight loss, nutrition counseling, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and aesthetic injectables, allowing her to care for patients with a wide range of health and wellness goals.
Angela's nursing career has taken her through a variety of healthcare settings, including busy hospitals and private practices, giving her valuable experience caring for patients with diverse medical needs. She believes that every treatment plan should begin with listening, taking the time to understand each patient's concerns before recommending solutions that fit their lifestyle, goals, and overall health. By combining preventive care with evidence-based medical treatments, Angela strives to help every patient feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their healthcare journey.

I have been going to Midwest Medical Weight Loss & Aesthetics since February. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and my experience. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by such wonderful and friendly staff. The nurses are so knowledgeable and genuinely care for you. They always make me feel great, provide such amazing support, and most importantly make me feel valued. All staff have made my weight loss and post surgery journey such a positive experience. I highly recommend visiting!
I have had such a great experience with Midwest MedSpa in Frankfort. Lauren has been amazing throughout my better-me journey.She is patient, knowledgeable, and makes you feel comfortable from start to finish. I was nervous about one of my treatments, and she took her time, explained what she was doing, and checked in with me throughout the process.I love that she listens and does not make you feel rushed or pressured. Outstanding care team! They provide a lot of education and information about their products. I appreciated their warm demeanor and knowledge. I brought my toddler with me and they made me feel welcomed! I would recommend this location to anyone interested in their services. 10/10!
